In relation to the International Plagiarism Prevention Day the webinar “Let’s Fight Plagiarism Together!” was held for the students and the professors of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Besides talks about raising awareness in connection with plagiarism, the webinar participants discussed the mechanisms for fighting against it, the regulations elaborated by the BSU and necessity of modification of the study course of Academic Writing. The students as well as the professors and the teachers took part in the quiz arranged in the frame of the webinar. The students expressed their opinion and highlighted the importance and necessity of application of the Turnitin programme. BSU been utilizing the given programme since 2018, in the frame of the “Erasmus+”project  (INTEGRITY) “Academic Integrity for Quality Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia”.

All BSU personnel and the students were sent the short video clips prepared in the frame of the Erasmus+”project (INTEGRITY) “Academic Integrity for Quality Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia”.  The International Plagiarism Prevention Day has been marked in the BSU since 2020.
