Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence: practice and challenges

On October 24, 2023, Ilia State University organized the third international conference on the topic – Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence: practice and challenges, which was hosted by Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

In total, representatives of twelve universities participated in the conference. The presentations were about the existed practice and  challenges with regards of the principles of academic integrity; using artificial intelligence tools in working on the academic/research papers; research ethics issues. The conference was attended by foreign speakers, including the professor of Roehampton University (UK) – Miles Berry.

The conference was established within the Erasmus Plus institutional development project “Academic integrity for quality learning and teaching in Georgian higher educational institutions” (INTEGRITY) and was held for the third time.
